About the Daniels
Mission
Painting doesn’t have to be hard. The typical contractor who runs a small business has to do his own marketing, estimating, production, accounting, and maybe even payroll. No wonder they’re overwhelmed and don’t want to hire more people.
We’re excited to build a better painting company by using modern automation tools and management. Having systems for each task and simplifying the jobs will help both homeowners and new painters.
We have been in Ridgefield since 2006, and painted for years to put ourselves through college. Now we are building systems that will allow us to serve hundreds of homes each year.

I love science and I spent over 3 years in a lab researching a protein involved in cellular motility in embryonic development. For this work, I got the competitive Mary Gates Research Scholarship.
Why am I not in a lab anymore?
I want to build my own! Entrepreneurship is even more fun than science and I’d like to combine them.
Building a better painting company is my practice run before I launch a biotech in a decade or so. Connect with me if you want to chat about that.

Mechanical Engineering
Since graduating High School I studied mechanical engineering at Clark College and WSUV. During my summer and winter breaks I worked as a painter and a tile installer to help get myself through college. TBH it wasn’t fun BUT, I learned A LOT about the trades, and I learned from THE BEST.
NGL, school wasn’t easy either. I did learn a bit about science and engineering, and I still am a nerd till I die but what I value and remember the most are my college buddies and the fun times we had. I went to college with the best people in the world and that’s a fact. Hella miss them. For whatever reason I decided to take a year off college, install some tile, save up for a car and then return to senior year. I never bought a new car though, in fact a year later I somehow had as much money as I did a year before. Some things will remain a mystery. Then my life changed June 2020. Post peak pandemic. Up till then I have not once in my life considered starting my own company. Daniel Saidov and I got serious and launched Daniels’ Painting. Then I dropped out of college. It all happened very fast and we had no idea what we were doing. The rest is history.
